Space Owners
Can I advertise my space on more than 1 platform?
Absolutely! You have the freedom to list your space on any other platform you choose. At NeedParking, we believe in providing our users with maximum flexibility and convenience. You are not bound to any exclusivity agreements or contracts with us.
When setting my space availability, what should I choose?
You have the flexibility to rent out your parking space for as short as one day or as long as you desire. The duration of the rental period is entirely up to you and can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
Is renting your parking space out legal?
According to the Government's stance, households can rent out parking spaces without the requirement for planning permission, provided that there are no significant planning concerns that could potentially cause a public nuisance to neighbours. However, if you're renting the property, it's crucial to ensure that subletting the parking space is allowed. Technically, subletting could be in violation of your tenancy agreement. To avoid any potential conflicts, it's advisable to obtain written consent from your landlord or agent before proceeding with renting out your parking space.
How does NeedParking make money?
NeedParking increases your earnings by 30% and promotes your parking space at your set price plus the increase, which becomes the total price paid by the driver. You receive your full rate, while we retain the increase.
Drivers
How do cancellations and refunds work?
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy. If you need to cancel a booking, simply provide 24 hours notice, and we'll process your refund within 7 days.
What do I do when I arrive at the space?
When it comes to accessing your reserved parking space, it's usually a hassle-free process. In most cases, you can simply park your vehicle and be on your way without notifying the space owner. Rest assured that they are aware of your booking for that specific time, so there's no need to worry about any additional steps or communication.
What is the booking guarantee?
Rest assured that all the parking spaces that appear in your search results and are available for booking have been made available by the respective Space Owner. Following the completion of your booking and payment, we'll send you a confirmation email, and the chosen space will be digitally reserved for you for the entire duration of your booking. In the event that your space cannot be honoured, you will be notified and refunded right away.
Does NeedParking provide a contract for me to sign?
Our service is designed to be flexible, and we don't require any contracts from our users. You can use us as much or as little as you need, without any long-term commitments or obligations.
